Scheduled bus services:
From Narvik: You can travel to Lofoten on the daily bus service from Narvik all the way out to Å. The bus follows the E10 highway and stops en route include Svolvær and Leknes. From Bodø: There is a daily departure from Bodø, which corresponds with the bus from Narvik in Lødingen. Local bus routes in Lofoten:
There are bus connections to many different parts of Lofoten. Travelling by public transport requires some planning, so check the timetables carefully. For timetable information: www.177nordland.no. This timetable applies from 01.02.2014-31.01.2015.
Airport Express Bus:
There is currently no Airport Express Bus service in Lofoten. However, the Lofotekspressen (Lofoten Express) calls at Harstad/Narvik Airport Evenes twice daily. From the airports at Leknes, Svolvær and Røst it is necessary to use taxis. It can be an advantage to book your taxi prior to departure on telephone 07550.

It is not possible to travel to Lofoten by train, but you may travel to Bodø and Narvik.
